McMinn County Schools will be closed on Monday, December 15, due to extreme temperatures and concerns for the safety of students waiting at bus stops. This closure will also provide needed time for students and staff who have been affected by a recent increase in illness to rest and recover. The safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our top priority. We appreciate your understanding and support as we take this precautionary measure. Scheduled extra curricular activities may still proceed at the discretion of the individual schools, additional communication will be sent regarding those activities. Please continue to monitor school communication channels for any additional updates.
Monday’s home basketball games vs Niota WILL still take place. No concessions will be sold, but fans are welcome to bring in outside food. JV tips off at 5, so doors will open at 4:30. Our 8th graders will be honored between girls and boys games. GO MINKS!

Calhoun Girls Basketball took a tour of lights this evening in the "party van" as a team bonding activity after practice!

Tonight's the night! 5th - 8th grade's Reindeer Romp 6-8 pm in the cafeteria. $10 admission at the door. Cell phones must be off and stored away. Students may ask permission to use if needed. Drop off & pick up by circling the building like morning car rider drop off at the front circle. No adults permitted inside.
